I scanned the back of the photo because of the handwriting. The question, "Would you fill in the other names for me" and some of the names are written by mother, Shirley Berry Currie. The printed names are written by me, and the other handwriting is that of Maurine Rucker Box, my mother's cousin.
I scanned the photo once more hoping to get a closer view of their faces.

L-R - Leon Pike and Joe Monroe Currie, Sr.
Joe (1917-2006) is my Daddy. Leon is his first cousin.
Today I began scanning old photos. I have looked at them over the years thinking I should do something with them. Once in great shape they are now beginning to fade. There is no time for my perfectionism to get in the way. Scan them now, tell the story later.
I will spend a little time everyday scanning these precious photos until they are done. Scanning daily will also help me to develop the habit of blogging several times a week.
